Connecting communities at Christmas with our Season of Giving

This holiday season, Quickline are spreading joy through their Season of Giving campaign! Quickline aims to enhance the magic of Christmas in your Yorkshire or Lincolnshire community by supporting and contributing to your festive plans.

Season of giving at Quickline

It’s the season of giving at Quickline and we’re offering to help make Christmas even more special for communities across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.

We’ve launched our Season of Giving campaign would love residents and organisations to get in touch to request support with your festive plans.

Following on from our successful ‘12 Days of Quickmas’ campaign last year, we want to deliver more festive cheer this year and are offering support including helping to fund events, sending members of our team to attend and help run events, and rewarding groups that make a difference where they live.

The campaign is just another way for us to support the isolated, rural communities we serve.

Julian Chalk, our Head of Engagement and Enablement, said: “We’re committed to helping rural communities flourish, not only through connecting them to our network, but in any other way we can too.

“We want to work with the communities we serve across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire to help them grow and develop.”

“Christmas is a brilliant time for people to come together and we want to support that by whatever means possible. That’s why we’re urging residents, groups and businesses to get in touch, so we can give something back at this special time of the yea.”

We’re on a mission to bridge the digital divide between urban and rural locations, and have already thrown our support behind a number of festive events and activities.

This includes:

  • Gifting hot chocolate and treats to people attending the Burton-upon-Stather Christmas Fair
  • Supplying the decorative lights for Willingham by Stow’s Christmas Magic event and sponsoring one of their 20 decorated Christmas Trees
  • Donating to a pensioners’ Christmas lunch in the North Yorkshire village of Chop Gate
  • Supporting Christmas activities at Keelby Primary School in Lincolnshire, including donating raffle prizes.

Helen Milner, one of our Community Executives, will be part of the team delivering support across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire over the festive period.

She said: “We stepped in to help some incredible events last year and we’d love to be able to do even more this time around.”

“Our Season of Giving campaign is all about Quickline giving something back to the communities we serve and spreading a bit of Christmas cheer along the way.”

“So, if you’re involved in a festive activity and want some help, get in touch and we’ll see what we can do to help.”
